Hour 1:
What to Do about Liberia?
Should we send troops into Liberia? Dennis argues that we have obligation as the strongest nation to help the weakest, but we have to be pragmatic, too. What is the mission? What do we want to accomplish? Plus, if we do go in, we have to go in with a massive force, not a small one. Right now, we’re heavily committed to Afghanistan and Iraq. This would be a perfect job for the United Nations. But they want to pass the buck to us.

Hour 2:
Showing the Flag
Compared to Utopia, the US doesn’t look too great. Compared to every other country in the history of the word, however, we shine. Dennis urges his listeners to show the colors tomorrow to celebrate our nation – past and present. Many callers have a problem doing this. They explain why and Dennis explains why they are wrong.

Hour 3:
The Italians
Having visited Italy many times and having just returned from a cruise of the Mediterranean, Dennis is full of good feeling for Italians. He talks to Modern Europe scholar, author and political columnist, Michael Ledeen, about the wonder that is Italy, the Italians pro-American president, and Sardinian cheese.
