Hour 1:
Slow Motion Disaster
With each passing day, the catastrophe of Katrina grows worse. New Orleans is now a city under water. Dennis talks to Dr. Irwin Redlener, director of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at the Columbia School of Public Health about the public health issues involved. He also talks to Dan Gilgoff, senior reporter for US News and World Report, who wrote an article in July predicting this disaster.

Hour 2:
Dealing with Katrina
Dennis continues his discussion of the greatest natural disaster in US history. He talks to Michael Zumstein of the Army Corps of Engineers about what will be done to repair the damaged New Orleans levees… Also the German environmental minister blames Katrina on the fact that the US has not signed the Kyoto Protocols. Robert Kennedy, Jr. agrees with him. They are both morons.

Hour 3:
A City Laid Waste
New Orleans is plagued by Biblical litany of problems – alligators, poisonous snakes, fire ants, raw sewage. Dennis discusses the bogus global warming issue with climatologist Patrick Michaels of the Cato Institute. He also talks to Paul Nussbaum, national reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer about whether this catastrophe could have been prevented.
