Hour 1:
San Diego decides to rename "Christmas on the Prado," what it has been called for 24 years, "Balboa Park December Nights." Why? Because "San Diego is culturally diverse." How foolish. Most of us who do not celebrate Christmas want America to keep celebrating it. It is, after all, celebrated by about 90% of Americans. Let us honor that fact and honor the uniquely positive role that Christianity has played and plays in American life.

Hour 2:
Talking about actor Christopher Reeve, a friend of Dennis said to him that he would prefer being dead to being quadriplegic. Dennis totally disagreed. To him there is no question; it is infinitely better to be alive and quadriplegic - if one's brain is normal and communications abilities are normal - than dead. A discussion with listeners: would they rather be dead or quadriplegic?

Hour 3:
James Dobson says on Larry King Live that he believes that a person needs to believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved. Many people find this belief offensive. But Dennis does not understand why people who don't want to be judged by their beliefs then go and judge Evangelical Christians by their beliefs. People should judge other people by their behavior, not be their theology.
