Hour 1:
GW Nominates a New Supreme Court Judge
Her name is Harriet Miers. She's currently GW's White House counsel. She's a close confidant of the President's, but very little is known about her. Given all the solid conservative women available, why did the President appoint someone whose credentials are not well known? Ironically, Democrats seem more pleased than Republicans. Dennis talks to David Frum, contributing editor to the National Review and former White House speech writer. He's also not happy with the president's choice.

Hour 2:
Bill Bennett Libeled
Liberals have twisted and distorted some comments Bill Bennett made last week on his radio talk show. Bennett made the point that it is not productive to use pragmatic arguments to support the pro-life position. To do this he made a hypothetical reference to blacks, abortions and crime. That's all the liberals needed to label him a racist. Dennis uses clips from the Ed Schultz Show, widely run on Air America, to illustrate how irresponsible liberals can be.

Hour 3:
Bennett and Miers
Dennis continues his discussion of the ways in which Bill Bennett has been maligned and how this characterizes liberal tactics. In a form of planetary "telephone" Bennett is now accused of advocating the abortion of all black babies... Dennis also muses further on the Bush nomination of Harriet Miers. We have to accept her conservatism completely on faith. The last time we were asked to do that was when GW's father appointed David Souter. That turned out to be a catastrophe.
