By the Democrats own logical, since "the rich" are a small number of people, the President's plan will not help the Republicans at the polls. This means the President is not thinking politically, but idealistically. He's proposing tax cuts because they thinks they are good for the country.

    DP reads a thoughtful piece from the Times of London by Michael Gove. The author examines why so many Europeans dislike America, the one super-power in the world that stands up to evil.

    Parents are having a difficult time letting their children grow up into mature, independent adults. Adult children grow dependent on parents' financial help and parents, wanting desperately to help them, are loath to cut them off.
