Don't Cross That Cross Dresser
The Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Caucus of the California Legislature has successfully spearheaded a bill, AB 196 which protects the rights of cross-dressers to wear whatever they want to their workplace without fear of being fired; or not being hired. Fines against employers who break the law can be as high as $150,000. The bill now sits on Governor Gray Davis's desk.
Don't Cross That Cross Dresser, Part II
Dennis talks to one of the sponsors of AB 196, John Longville (D-Rialto) about his reasons for promoting this bill.
The Stanford Student World View
Dennis, who is broadcasting this week from this prestigious university, asks four Stanford students their views on war and peace. He finds a unanimity of views: war is always bad, peace is always good.
