No matter what reasons he would have given for invading Iraq, he would be accused of deceiving the public by the Left; Lawyers Sue Shell Oil in Deadly Nightclub Fire. Turns out that a local Shell gas station gave out tickets to club. That's enough, though, to get them into the suit; Revealing Your Thong Underwear Is Not A Crime. A man exposed his rear end to children. Massachusetts Supreme Court rules it's okay; Olympic Bomber Caught. New York Times identifies him as a "Christian" with many Christian supporters.
Atheists and Monkeys
Dennis reads letters from atheists who take exception to his column from last week. Their arguments seem to come out of the atheists manual – "infinite regression" disproves God's existence. But it doesn't because God, to the believer, is super natural – outside of nature, outside of time or 3 dimensions. He is the first cause.
WMD's: Truth and Consequences
Deputy Director Defense of Paul Wolfowitz made a comment in a Vanity Fair interview that the threat of WMD's was the only issue everyone in the administration could agree was a basis for an Iraq invasion. This has outraged the American Left and Europe. Hard to see why, except that they hate Bush and Blair and would accuse them of lying no matter what they said.
