    Hour 1:
    Slaughter in Santa Monica
An 86-year-old man smashed into a open air farmers market in Santa Monica, California killing 9 people and injuring dozens more, many critically. After a brief visit to the police station, he was sent home. Not a single night in jail? Does that reflect our view of what he did?

    Hour 2:
    Slaughter in Santa Monica, Continued
How much responsibility does the man who killed 9 people bear? If he has any, what should society do about it? Should he be punished? Should he go on trial? Or do we simply say, "he's old and doesn't know the gas pedal from the brake" and forget about it?

    Hour 3:
    Slaughter in Santa Monica, Continued
Should the elderly be allowed to drive? If so, do they have to accept the responsibilities of driving like any one else? Or do we have special rules for them? If we don't, then why should this man, who killed 9 people with his car, be treated any differently than an 18 year-old?.
