John G. Roberts is President Bush's choice. Dennis focuses on the Democrats and Leftist advocacy group's main concern – the ability for the nominee to dispense fairness. Justice, to these people, is secondary. Fairness is primary. But justice and fairness are not always compatible.
Why All the Drama?
Twenty years ago, very little attention was paid to Supreme Court nominations. The President nominated and the Senate ratified. But that's all changed now – for one reason. The only way the Democrats can win is through the courts. They lose the courts and they lose everything.
