A Stranger in a Strange Land
Dennis begins his week broadcast from Fleet Center in Boston, the location of the Democratic National Conventon.. He interviews three delegates from Arizona on their views on same-sex marriage and antipathy toward the Republican Party.
Who Are the Democrats?
Dennis describes the make-up of the average delegate, a person far more liberal than the typical American and even the typical Democrat voter. He talks to the woman who announces all the speakers at the convention who, it turns out, is a fan; to a correspondent from Indian television on that sub continent's view of the two political parties; and Alexis Herman, former Labor Secretary for President Clinton.
What Do Democrats Believe?
Dennis conversations with delegates to the convention continues – an environmentalist who would save her cat over the President if both were drowning and a delegate from Oregon who is strongly opposed to the War in Iraq.
