    Hour 1:
A major Palestinian figure - former editor of PA newspaper and minister in Arafat regime - strongly criticizes Arafat and the Palestinians for rejecting the Camp David deal which offered the Palestinians a state with only "minor border modifications." So much for the lies spread about Israel's only offering "disconnected Bantustans" to the Palestinians.

    Hour 2:
    1. Norman Mailer's comments in London Times about his fears of American patriotism. This is the man who had a murderer released from prison because the man was a literary talent - and once released the man then murdered a waiter in Greenwich Village. Norman Mailer has been wrong on just about every major moral issue of his life. He is another alienated intellectual who fears the non-alienated, like Americans who show their flag.
    2. The Democratic leadership now calls for the congressional vote on invading Iraq to take place in a few months - i.e. after the November elections. The Democrats do not want to have to take a stand on war against Iraq and then face the voters.

    Hour 3:
The networks have largely decided not to show the images of the planes crashing into the World Trade Center on their 9-11 coverage. Why not show these images? Aren't we in a war?
