    Hour 1:
Indiana woman is televised beating her child. Should she have had the daughter taken from her and put into a Foster home? For the sake of the child, based on what we saw, no.

    Hour 2:
Speech given by the president of Harvard denouncing antisemtitm on campuses! This is one rare college president in his courage.

    Hour 3:
The new Miss America, Ericka Harold - many interesting aspects. First she changed her platform from when she ran for Miss Illinois from "teenage sexual abstinence" to "empowering youth against violence." Her Illinois message was not quite appealing to the sophisticates who run the pageant. Second, though a quarter black, she lists "none" under ethnicity/race. Third, she worked for the election of a conservative, pro-life Illinois state senator.
